Here is a fluff free review of Jekyll & Hyde, Empire Damansara:
Notable Mentions: –
Overall Flavours: Poor
Staff Efficiency: Average
Pricing: Cheap (RM 0 – RM 25) to Expensive (RM 60 – RM 100 and above)
Additional Information: I haven’t eaten bad food in a prolonged amount of time so was taken aback when the presentation didn’t match the flavour. The salad (Jamon Jamon) was eatable but the leaves had a strange, pungent aftertaste that was rather bitter; we ordered the “Hyde’s Pub Platter” but were served disappointment instead (yes, I’m feeling dramatic) – the sausages tasted of cheap, processed meat drenched in oil but the same could be said for the sliders (literally just butter, cheese and meat) whereas the arancini and croquettes were flavourless (unless you consider flour a flavour). I am usually incredibly easy to please with food but the food should at least taste of quality; I do not recommend this restaurant but if you do go, don’t order what I did!
“What I’ve enjoyed most, though, is meeting people who have a real interest in food and sharing ideas with them. Good food is a global thing and I find that there is always something new and amazing to learn – I love it!” Jamie Oliver
