Food Review: Sala

Notable Mentions: Burrito with Mushroom Asada
Overall Flavours: Good
Staff Efficiency:
Average
Ambiance: Average – the restaurant is recently opened
Pricing:
Cheap (RM 0 – RM 25)
Tips: Check their opening hours and visit during off-peak hours (we waited more than twenty minutes just to place our order as we visited during dinner)
Additional Information: Every item on the menu is vegan, which is phenomenal considering the affordable prices! I sampled the coconut and peanut-butter bliss balls for just RM5 per piece and loved it; the burrito is huge but I managed to devour an entire burrito whereas my friends shared one burrito between two people (yes, I’m a monster) – the flavours were unbelievable as the mushroom asada had the same consistency and taste of lamb/ beef so you literally can’t tell that you’re eating a mushroom burrito instead of a meat burrito. I’m definitely returning to sample the BBQ jackfruit, which I’ve heard also tastes just like meat. On a side note: the fact that the burrito is served with plantain chips is quite authentic!
