Food Review: Birch

Here is a fluff free review of Birch, Damansara:

Notable Mentions:
Overall Flavours: Average
Staff Efficiency:
Average to Good
Ambiance: Good – perhaps the only redeeming factor
Pricing:
Mid Range (RM 25 – RM 60) to Expensive (RM 60 – RM 100 and above)
Tips:
Additional Information: Birch recently opened but only just introduced their dinner menu, which my friends and I sampled. The price of the dinner menu at Birch is steep, especially when considering the portions of each dish, which were, for a lack of a better word, ridiculous; I was genuinely shocked when the food arrived, even more so because Birch has been labelled the new ‘it’ place. For example, my boyfriend ordered lamb cutlets for RM75, excluding a carbohydrate like rice or potato, and was served three small cutlets that were probably a total of 9 bites. Not only that, but the flavours were also rather bland, something all of my seven friends and I agreed upon. Moving on to the last complain, the restaurant was fully booked, so much so that my friends and I had to squeeze together because the staff couldn’t find an extra chair… Again, ridiculous. I do really hope that the sizes, as well as the flavours, improve because I would love to dine in that ambiance again.
