Namaste
My name is Raisa Gabrielli and I’m the author of Raisa Reviews!
My curiosity about, and passion for travelling, the world started when I was young. Raised by a Malaysian mother and a German father, I was blessed with the opportunity to travel between the countries frequently. Witnessing the mysticism of Asia and romanticism of Europe at a young age also spurred my passion for writing and eventually, when I could appreciate the flavours properly, food.
Based in Koh Samui, I am a teacher at an international school centred around mindfulness & sustainability (Lamai International School). In between teaching the Cambridge Curriculum, I teach yoga as well (200 Hours Yoga Alliance certified in Nepal). Simultaneously, I run Love, Light, Lemons – a charity focused on uplifting the lives of communities-in-need in Malaysia.
Oh and I’ve published a self-illustrated collection of poetry, titled Metamorphosis, which you can purchase via Amazon here š
