Food Review: Bistro à Table

Here is a fluff free review of Bistro à Table, Petaling Jaya:

Notable Mentions: Monthly Degustation Menu or Truffled Mashed Potatoes
Overall Flavours: Excellent
Staff Efficiency: Good – attentive and knowledgeable, which is what matters in fine dining
Ambiance: Good – considering it’s French, it’s no surprise that the interiors are chic; simple but classy, with a section of tables separated by curtains for that intimate touch
Pricing:
Cheap (RM 0 – RM 25) to Expensive (RM 60 – RM 100 and above)
Tips:
Make a reservation
Additional Information: I have visited before, several years ago, and because of that I can confidently say that the quality of the produce has remained the same – that is, good due to being consistently sourced diligently. The dish I remembered most vividly from my prior dining experience at Bistro à Table was the truffled mash potato so of course I just had to sample it again and I was not disappointed at all! Bistro à Table actually has a degustation menu which changes monthly and my visit with my godmum coincided with truffle season aka the degustation menu was/ is centered around truffles (!!!). Do I really have to say more? Nobody, especially not a fine dining restaurant, can go wrong with truffle(s) so do yourself a favor and visit ASAP. I know you’re probably thinking “I ain’t no Crazy Rich Asian” but another reason I love Bistro à Table is because it caters to all budgets, with the basic degustation menu costing RM 150 per person – of course that’s still plenty but when you factor in the amount of dishes (four in total) and the taste, it’s very worth the splurge.

  1. I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the structure of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
