Photo Diary: Tasting Fremantle in Perth, Western Australia

If you’re planning to or are visiting Perth then chances are that Fremantle is already on your sightseeing list as it’s one of the most popular tourist attractions in Perth. Mainly known for it’s market, it’s important to note that the Fremantle market, also referred to as Freo market by locals, is only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

I would definitely recommend either visiting early in the morning or on Friday as Fremantle market is frequented by many – locals and tourists alike. Besides that, do come hungry as you’re allowed to ask for samples, even though you probably won’t need to as most stores already have samples prepared for eager passer-bys (aka me).

If you’re feeling slightly guilty after devouring all those samples then head to Cottesloe Beach for a rejuvenating swim – it’s around 15 to 20 minutes from Fremantle, depending on traffic. P.s.: thank you again for taking me around, Arina πŸ™‚
