Food Review: Druga Violina (Second Violin)

Here is a fluff free review of Druga Violina, Ljubljana:

Notable Mentions: Pumpkin Seed Oil Drizzled On Anything
Overall Flavours: Good
Staff Efficiency: Good
Ambiance: Average – despite its simple interiors, the restuarant still exudes warmth
Pricing:
Cheap (EUR 0 – EUR 25)
Tips:
Make a reservation as low prices attract crowds
Additional Information: Druga Violina is the cheapest restaurant within the centre of Ljubljana due to the fact that it employs people with special needs; because of this, the restaurant is also recommended for people with mobility impairment. Although it’s cheap, the quality of the produce is not! The food being served is classic Slovenian food, with plenty of vegetarian options available alongside the goulash and sausages on offer. In Slovenia, and Austria, pumpkin seed oil is a major thing and I highly recommend tasting it as it’s a unique flavour – a yummy flavour at that.

“Food is a central activity of mankind and one of the single most significant trademarks of a culture.” Mark Kurlansky
